We look forward to working together with Stefanie Konrad, an experienced yoga teacher. Yet Steffi is more but a yoga teacher. Her main job is being a Process Manager at a chemical company. Steffi knows the corporate world by heart, and she practiced home office during the pandemic. Why not bringing both worlds together? Relaxing your mind & body can help ease stress in business. It can also relieve anxiety, depression, and concentration problems. As a result, we proudly present four modules, that will be integrated in many of our trainings.

MODULE 1: HOW TO IMMEDIATELY REDUCE STRESS WITH BREATHING EXERCISES

Deep breathing is one of the best ways to lower stress. The way we breathe is influenced by our state of mind and in turn our thoughts and physiology can be influenced by our breathing. Deep breathing practices can have a positive impact on both body and mind. Steffi will guide you through a calming breathing technique to reduce stress and anxiety, that takes just a few minutes and can be done anywhere.

MODULE 2: HOW TO REVITALIZE AND KEEP FRESH WITH OFFICE YOGA

When you’ve been slouching at your desk for eight hours or more, your body suffers: tight hips and shoulders, a creaky neck and an aching back. Leaving the office for an actual workout may not be feasible, but with a little office yoga, you can reduce discomfort, relieve stress, increase energy and clear your mind. And before you wonder if getting your ‘om on is possible in business casual, know each of these poses are work-friendly, meaning, you can incorporate them into your daily routine for a quick stretch at any time to feel happier and healthier. Office Yoga includes breathing and exercises, called asanas or poses, that stretch the body, like the cat-cow stretch, seated eagle, standing pigeon and many more.

MODULE 3: HOW GUIDED MEDITATION HELPS YOU TO STOP YOUR MIND WANDERING

When we meditate, we inject far-reaching and long-lasting benefits into our lives: We lower our stress levels, we connect better, we improve our focus, and we're kinder to ourselves. Let us walk you through the basics on how to meditate. In body scan meditation, we’re learning how to pay attention to the breath as it goes in and out and notice when the mind wanders from this task. We are learning how to return to, and remain, in the present moment—to anchor ourselves in the here and now on purpose, without judgement. Stefanie will show you how to focus your attention on different parts of your body.

MODULE 4: BEST PRACTICE TIPS TO INTEGRATE MIND-BODY CONNECTION TO YOUR BUSINESS LIFE

What have Lionel Messi, Cristiano Ronaldo, Roger Federer and Michael Jordan in common? They are famous athletes who practice mindfulness and meditation. So why don’t we integrate mind-body connection consciously in our daily life? Mindfulness-based stress reduction focuses your attention on things that are happening in the present moment. The idea is just to note what is happening without instantly trying to change it. Stefanie will share best practice tips with you.
