Shift Focus – Solutions in Sight

In this training, participants will learn to adopt a proactive, solution-oriented mindset and apply creative problem-solving methods. Through hands-on exercises and techniques, they will be empowered to tackle challenges efficiently and develop innovative solutions.

The training specifically aims to achieve the following objectives:

  • Develop a solution-oriented mindset: Participants will learn how their attitude influences challenges and how they can act proactively.
  • Enhance team communication: Foster creativity within the team and handle blockers and dead-end arguments effectively.
  • Learn effective creativity techniques: Participants will gain knowledge of various creativity techniques and how to apply them for problem-solving.
  • Improve problem-solving skills in complex situations: Strategies for structured and creative action in challenging situations.
  • Promote innovation and creativity in everyday work: Participants will develop an awareness of creative thinking approaches and integrate them into their daily work.
Contents of the Training

  • Introduction to a solution-oriented mindset: Basic principles of a solution-oriented approach
  • Strategies for reframing problems as opportunities: Viewing problems as chances for growth and development
  • Creativity sessions: Developing, implementing, and moderating
  • Osborne’s SCAMPER method: Applying seven thinking prompts (Substitute, Combine, Adapt, Modify, Put to another use, Eliminate, Reverse)
  • De Bono’s Six Thinking Hats: Using different perspectives to develop creative solutions
  • Walt Disney Technique: Developing and critically assessing innovative ideas in three phases (Dreamer, Realist, Critic)
  • Inversion technique: Identifying challenges and developing new solutions by reversing the perspective
  • AI: Leveraging artificial intelligence as an idea generator (Co-pilot). 


Methods
Practical application, group work and case studies, role plays and simulations, reflection and feedback rounds, creative thinking and visualization techniques.
